Saves you having to get the wheel spanner out to change the hub from auto to lock. Small and compact enough to sit in the glovebox.
Negative. This is for torquing up the wheel bearings! Sorry. Will change the thread name and first post.

Who'se mind does this change?

When I had my Safari (Poeliesvehn) I took a geyser spanner (for removing the element, it think it is 46mm), cut it open on all 8 corners and then bent it open a bit. After that I welded a strp around it to make it the correct size for the front w/b on the front wheels. I think it's size is 52mm

Maybe I should get the correct one from you Peter. Please put my name on the list, I will fetch it at your place in Kempton when its ready.

You can sms or whatsapp me on "oh ate three 29six fifty seven twenty"

Peter, looks like an actual "hub locking" spanner would sell like hot cakes......... maybe you should make some?

I am still in for the bearing spanner and a hub spanner as well for that matter. Pain in the behind having to go to the tool box everytime.
Would be nice to have a smallish tool at hand for the job...
