Ek dink ook nie so nie - myne se horisontale pyp was nie konsertina tipe nie maar glad. Hoe groot is die gat wat jy moet sny? Myne was 90mm.Stefan wrote:Hierdie lyk nie vir my na 'n 4x4 direct snorkel nie....

Re: Snorkel for sale
Hi Stefan
I put my snorkel on a few weeks ago , quiet nerve racking cutting a big hole in a prefect panel
if you go to 4x4 direct they have a link on installation, they say you must drill 14mm holes
but if you measure nicely 9mm works ,try get a patten from 4x4 direct in cape town
it was accurate and I had only correct one hole with a file
The thing everyone forget to tell you is all the pieces of metal /parts/sponge that you have to
remove from the inside of the fender and you need skinner fingers to get to the bolts
when they put the patrols together they were not shy to put bolts where ever they
could, if you can get the front light out it makes life also a lot easier
one thing I can say about the snorkel your airfilter stays a lot cleaner
The one I fitted had a solid plastic tube inside the fender and not
a bendable pipe
measure 10 times and only cut once
good luck
