Re: Bumpers, Nudge bars, Winch Plate, Recovery Point
Sorry folks.
I've not been in touch. My week last week turned pear shaped, and I had no time to get through to collect or deliver anything. I'm hoping to be able to do this all this week, but considering I'm stuck in Megawatt park for the duration, this may not happen. Will have to check PC's availability over the weekend. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone, but work sometimes interferes with things...

Re: Bumpers, Nudge bars, Winch Plate, Recovery Point
Apologies - I've been dead quiet, and I've not posted photos yet.
Leave on Friday was cancelled, busy weekend, and been in Megawatt park with limited internet access until today.
In any case, this is how the BZT bumper on my 4.5 came out. Apart from having made a considerable improvement on my approach angle (the nudgebar I previously had on attaches on brackets which are 10 - 15cm lower than the standard bumper) I think it looks fantastic... :)
At the time of the photographs, I'd not replaced my PC bash plate yet (I removed it prior to taking the 'trol in for fitment of the new bumper). I only had a chance to do this on Saturday evening, so I've not got photos of this yet. However, it looks almost as if the bash plate was made for the bumper... :)

Re: Bumpers, Nudge bars, Winch Plate, Recovery Point
Just a note about this moving forward - so that all are on the same page.
Cobus - I'll be giving the recovery hook to Peter Connan this weekend when I see him at Moegatle. Please arrange to collect it from him.
David - I'll be giving the winch plate to Peter Connan this weekend when I see him. He'll do what he does in terms of reverse engineering, and you can arrange to collect it from him. Also, if I recall correctly, you will be back from the Transkei this weekend. Please let me know when is convenient, and I'll come and drop off the two bumpers and nudge bars. Alternatively, you can collect them. Just let me know - I think you have my number.
Drean - I'll post again when David has the bumpers. You can then get in touch with him to arrange transport for them down to the Cape.
I think that is it. I'll post again when all items are delivered to their respective interim locations. :)

Re: Bumpers, Nudge bars, Winch Plate, Recovery Point
David (aka MiniPatrol) collected the nudgebars and bumpers today. In other words, all is collected. Drean - please arrange your collection with David when he has replaced his stuff.
David - thanks for the beer - I appreciated it. :)
Happy Patrolling.
