Popped up in the trader today. Very vauge description, trying to contact the seller for more info.

Questions:
What era? Pre 1998?
4.2 is it diesel or petrol? I recall something about a 4.2 petrol somewhere. I hope its diesel.
Obviously not much along the line of comfort. Would these have aircon?
Rear diff lock or not?

hmmm.... looks in good condition!!.... I stand corrected, but I think they were 4.2 petrol. Unfortunatly I don't know too much about these pre 1998 models. The gurus of these Patrols on thius forum will give you better advice.

Got hold of the seller. This is his story:

He bought it as a bank repo, bought with ceased engine. Engine rebuilt it is 4.2 petrol According to him everything is in apple pie order, he did a trip trough Lesotho. Picked up a miss, disappeared with new distributor. Aircon, interior, everyghing good, exterior some cosmetic damage he bought it with. He will mail me the photos shortly, I'll post them here.

Good old van, only problem it is in Van Der Bijlpark I can not see myself going all teh way over there. Maby somebody closer can have a look and make an offer. At R50k I think it is a bargain, but at this stage I'm not actively trying to buy a vehicle. Only looking and asking around

Rode a motorbike, and it was ntohing like yours. Was a 125cc Honda deliverybike.
