Viva Ol’Smokey
Ford 2.2 has cost 100k in 200 000 km just to keep it running, nevermind service cost. Boost pipe then it was turbo, cluch R26k. Got it back yesterday with a new engine. The previous one acquired a hole in the piston apparently due to a failty injectors.
Mazda 2.2 intercooler exploded 2 weeks ago with 160 000 km
Also cost boost pipe and now has a crank sensor problem. Had a few other issues along the line.
Toyota hilux 2.0 vvti 400 000 km on the clock. Did a few clutches and now it is time for a gear box
Gq Patrol TD42 440 000 km on the clock, pulling them all on 35” tires including that trailer with 3.6 cubes of kiaat probably over a total of 4 tons. Needs suspention bushes replaced. Would like to put a more efficient turbo on.

Re: PATROL PICKUP 3.0DI 4X4 SC
Sal nice wees as hulle hier beskikbaar kon wees. Nissan SA het blykbaar die Patrol bakkie ook opgeskort....soos destyds toe hulle ook die Safari vir n lang ruk nie geproduseer het nie.
