2013 year model, should this not have the CRDi engine rather than the Di like my 2008 model has?

It is a 2014 model with the Di motor, but definitely an upgrade from the grenade motors

Nissan sells the 3.0 as a Di. The CRD is a abbriviation from australia. Thus the only way to know is to look at the engine.

My 2013 was labelled a Di but had the new CRD engine in. So please post a pic of the engine. Thats the only shure way to tell.

There is no indication on the car, year model or any design feature on the outside where one can see the difference. The only way is on the engine.

Maybe Tinus can talk to his connections at nissan to make a sticker that and stick it on all new 3.0 that are CRD so all can be easily identified.

I did what I could to protect the motor. Ie. Snorkel, blanked of EGR valve, diverted crank case breather to atmosphere. I always added 500 ml two stroke with every fuel up. (you can hear the motor running much more smoothly after 15 km, I would highly recommend this for anybody). Always serviced between 7 and 10 000 km depending on the circumstances and location.
The car is in really good shape, but I not going to export it to Namibia

Dankie, Tinus ou maat, goed gaan.
