2001? 4.5 GRX Auto
Hi all.
A non-forum friend of mine is selling his 4.5 GRX auto, having already replaced it with a 4.8.
I think the car is a 2001, and is standard apart from 2" Old Man Emu suspension. It has 227k km on the clock and has been in Graham's care for the last five years and 65k km, and he wants around R110k for it.
Please note that the diff guard and t/c skidplate have been removed.
If you are interested, please phone Gerrit on zero83 3zero1 tripple8zero

Re: 2001? 4.5 GRX Auto
My I have had both the 4.5 manual and now the Auto, must say I can not feel much difference (Ok I have SAC header and exhorst on the auto which may make a difference) and I am running 285's on that auto which effects acceleration on pull off. Off road having driven different lots of makes and models, I would say auto is better on rock and off road trails, but manual is better on sand and mud. On the open road and up long hills if you leave the box in D yes the auto(with overdrive engaded) is up and down through the gears, but there again I was up and down through my box in the manual
I am an auto fan and always will be, I just find it a much easier and relaxing drive, even to the extent that I was speaking to JP yesterday of maybe changing my 4.2 tdi to an auto box.
Tank capacity is the same in both 125L

Re: 2001? 4.5 GRX Auto
All things equal, an auto will always use slightly more fuel in my experience...
