All good bud. I drove with David in that same Patrol on the river trip...... Holy Smoke my good Sir.... that motor is a beast !!!! I think you will quite enjoy the drive compared to the 4.5 Petrol. The 4.8 is still a completely different beast though. But I believe you will love the 4.2 diesel !!

Ian that is a ex pick up motor ....technically the same but diffent thickness crank conrods different diesel pump and diff flywheel all the same as ud40 truck motor but also td42 yes

Well not full, but I did fit a Madman and upped the fuel ever so slightly.

Still needs a boost compensator and pump calibration, injectors preasure check, boost actuator upgrade, 3" exhaust and proper tuning to have it going like a boeing
