Curious, Deon - You mentioned the only technical bit was the photo you posted. That appears as if it is the bit coming up from the 'spruitjie' next to the Krugersdorp roa.. Did you not go up to the top of the moutain, descend and ascend again via the switchbacks with the fairly rough side slope ? There was quite a bit of rain in the area a few weeks ago, so they may have closed that bit.

Weird though - when I did the route, we went down the 'technical bit', not up it...

Die eienaar van plaas waarop ons die dag gery het, het gevra dat ek die volgende op ons web tuiste pos:

"The off road route used by the Nissan 4x4 club on the 27th May 2017 at Thaba Nkwe, is on a leased section of the farm Hekpoort, and is not open for public use. The farm is an environmentally conscious private property within the Cradle of Humankind."


Wat ek kan aflei uit korrespondensie wat ek ontvang het, is daar 'n dispuut tussen die eienaar en die huurder van die grond oor die toelaat van hierdie tipe van byeenkomste.
