GQ 4.2D single cab.. is that a shortie, or a bakkie?
Does it have a rear locker? It may come in handy. But there will be ample winches around if it is a real problem.

I was thinking initially to depart on the 3rd, but actually leaving Gauteng in the early morning of Thursday 5 October will be sufficient.
This gives us two clear days for the Baboons. Also some of the guys coming may have issues with sufficient leave of we leave earlier than the 5'th.

Then he can also join the Whatsapp group set up specifically for this trip

If not, then we can make other plans.

I was thinking we could challenge Nissan to bring the Navarra with driver and a journalist.
Tinus has the contacts. But based on past experience, bringing the camel to the water does not always guarantee it will drink.

that driver must just have a long tow rope and be behind a Patrol...we'll drag that camel into the water and if he aint got snorkel ..his going to drink water :rolling: :rolling: :rolling:
