ricster wrote:Going that way adds an extra 50Km on from south of JHB. So time wise it will probably land up the same with speed bumps.

I know Alex is also waiting for that .... certificate.

Was told to come in one week before we travel and get some kind of letter to say application was received and paid....

Has to be Me, the wife and son that go in AGAIN!!!

Then Also need affidavit because the wife is not traveling with giving permission that the son can go.

 :helpsign:

This might give a broader perspective on the possible route's to travel.

If we start off in smaller groups and want to meet somewhere to make a BIG convoy, then Bethal or Ermelo seems to be the point for Gauteng/North West, the Vaal and Even up North.

If we stick to smaller groups then the guys from Pretoria, Brits and up North have the three red options to choose from.

The Mpumalanga guys it seems Josefsdal is an option but very bad road so Oshoek seems the better option (purple)

Westrand and the Vaal the orange/blue route would be our best option.

Centurion/ Kempton and surroundings are in the middle and can go either Red or Blue.

I guess it will also depend on Departure, myself I want to get going VERY EARLY as it is a long weekend(school holiday) and traffic will pick up as the day progresses :oldtimer:
