Mag mens vleis en hout in vat? Hoeveel drank mag mens in vat?
Moet daar ZA stickers op die voertuig geplak word (soos mosambiek).
Enigiets anders?

So many questions .... so little time !!

but here's another question, unless I missed it in an earlier post. Is there going to be one base camp that we use and travel each day back to after the 4x4 drive? I was thinking of bringing my camping trailer, then I don't need the roof top tent.

Dink dis belangrik vir die ouens wat wil besluit of hulle dak tent of grond tent moet saam bring. :mytwocents:
Selfde kamp vir al die aande
I take it that since we are self sufficient and in the bush we dont need to worry about currency? Unless for diesel/petrol?

Swaziland cheaper on fuel than SA, so just put in enough to cross border, first filling stations take R - fill up and again before going back into SA...............

According to AA you dont need third party insurance..

Edit: More info regarding border crossing:

http://www.swazi.travel/travel-info/swa ... procedures

Swaziland Border Procedures
Crossing Swaziland borders can be a whole lot easier if you make yourself aware of the customs and immigration procedures beforehand. Here's some notes to assist:
Immigration Procedures
The borders posts between Swaziland and neighbouring South Africa and Mozambique are international crossings and you will need a valid passport. Tourists are generally granted a 30-day period to enjoy the country. If you wish to stay longer, such as when working on a volunteer project you will need to approach the Ministry of Home Affairs in Mbabane for an extension. If you plan to work or be remunerated for work in Swaziland, you will need to apply for a Temporary Residence Permit (TRP).
Many nationalities are free to visit Swaziland without a visa, however there are some countries for which these formalities have not been waived. You can check this here: Swaziland Visa Requirements.
Visas cannot be obtained on arrival at the border. There are Swaziland High Commission offices in Maputo, Mozambique and Pretoria, South Africa.
If you are in South Africa and/or Mozambique on a single-entry visa, be aware that once you have left these countries, you cannot automatically go back without re-applying for a new visa. Such re-application may be subject to restrictions, so it is best that you check this out carefully.
Customs Procedures
Visitors are allowed to temporarily import their personal belongings without paying import duties or tax, for example: cameras, laptops, camping and recreational equipment etc. However, one may be required to fill out a Temporary Importation permit. If temporarily imported goods are discarded of in Swaziland V.A.T for that item or items will be payable.
Prohibitions and Restrictions
Endangered species (or parts thereof), dangerous drugs (narcotics). Arms, ammunition and live animals are susceptible to import controls and must be declared. There are restrictions to the importation of meat, dairy products, vegetables, fruits and plants: please declare them to an SRA officer and request advice on the requirements.
Penalties
Goods not declared in full or accompanied with false invoices will be detained and subject to forfeiture. Persons evading V.A.T may lead to prosecution in the Courts and subjection to penalties and fines - and can possibly lead to imprisonment.
Tax free allowances:
Visitors and Returning residents entering Swaziland can bring in consumable goods for their own consumption, like food (not intended for commercial purposes or sale) to the value of ZAR 1000.00 per individual, and ZAR 2 000.00 per family traveling together (one such importation per day). Additional goods above these allowances are liable for 14% V.A.T.
*Please refer to the official Swaziland Revenue Authority website for detailed info: http://www.sra.org.sz

Guy guys guys, just read.

Ok. Very important. They have new rules on SA side of border

1. Make sure you have a valid passport
2. Kids under the age of 18 must have a passport and also an UNABRIDGED CERTIFICATE
IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE GET A LETTER FROM HOME AFFAIRS BUT YOU HAVE TO APPLY (R75)
3. If you are devorced the other biological parent have to give consent by means of a avidavit (NO EXEPTIONS ARE MADE)
4. Same apply for a borrowed vehicle, you need concent of the owner.

There will be a base camp with site toilets, no showers and security during the day.
Fuel are cheaper that side and they do except Rands, but give u change in Emelangeni ratio 1:1

Swaziland do have shopping centres incase you have wondered. Don't take meat accross its illegal
