Hallo All
Just another big question? Communication!! To help and make things easy and so we might all have a good convoy going.
Shell we arrange a specific frequency we are going to use?
Most that are from the Club side have VHF radio's. So we sit with 9 ORRA frequency's, shall we standardize for this trip?
 Can we make say ORRA channel 3 or 4.

Thanks

Louis

we can also use orra 1 (152.66250 MHz) or orra 2 (161.15000MHz) the are no rx/tx tones make programming
of radios a lot easier

Hallo Juice
Yes it is true, but i found there are a lot of illegal use on those two frequency's, because there is no transmit and receive tones.
But maybe if we start to populate those with some lekker 4x4 talk it can be good.
On my list though ORRA 7, 8 and 9 are the ones without tone signals.

"Conclusion
As a result of the above, the following configuration of 8 channels were worked out and set up as the new standard -

New ORRA 1 - Old ORRA 2 frequency with tone A
New ORRA 2 - Old ORRA 3 frequency with tone A
New ORRA 3 - Old ORRA 2 frequency with tone B
New ORRA 4 - Old ORRA 3 frequency with tone B
New ORRA 5 - Old ORRA 1 frequency with tone A
New ORRA 6 - Old ORRA 1 frequency with tone B
New ORRA 7 - Old ORRA 1 frequency with no tones
New ORRA 8 - Old ORRA 2 frequency with no tones
New ORRA 9 - New ORRA frequency with no tones"
