Can anybody shed any light as to where the event will be held?
Or did I miss it somewhere in the thread?

Verder is hy standard.

Hallo Herrie. Ek sien dat my moeite verniet was... Ek het kleiner bande by oom Mac en staal rims by Tinus gekry, opgesit & gebalanseer, nuwe wielmoere gekoop. Daar sit ek - myne is 75mm. Back to square 1? :rolling: Enige raad? :eureka:

Venue: Base 4.
Camping available from 5pm on 11 April, at no charge to pre-entered competitors. (Guests of competitors can camp at a nominal fee, please advise me of names so I can arrange access.)
Registration & scrutineering from 07h00 AT GREEN CASTLE GARAGE ONLY on R511, to avoid congestion on site. No other registration point available.
Arrive 15 minutes before your allotted time, to do last vehicle safety checks, etc.
Drivers depart to Base 4 site at 10 minute intervals, set off by marshalls.
Drivers will be divided into 2 groups, for 2 different start points once they arrive on site.
Drivers 1, 3, 5, 7, etc start at obstacle 1. Drivers 2, 4, 6 , 8, etc start at obstacle 6.
12 obstacles in total - 7 x driving, 5 x 4x4 & bush knowledge. (This number may change.)
The driving obstacles will not be too easy, but will not break the vehicles. All obstacles will be designed to test the driver & navigator's skills.
Wimpy style breakfast (R35) from 06h30, and lunch (R40) will be available, as well as drinks & snacks.
Bar opens from 12 noon for spectators, and those who have finished. No drinking & driving.
Kiddies & adults entertainment to be finalised, but they do have a nice pool, so kids can swim while adults drive (pool supervisor needs to be arranged thru Base 4)
If you have not yet entered, do so now, to avoid missing out.
