Thanks to all for the great weekend, it is always goood to meet people with common interests. Also the people who helped me with my front wheel on Sunday. Got home safely and the Patrol is in to find out what went wrong and get fixed. Thanks again.

The mags are MT and as far as I know were straight out of the box and fitted directly onto the car. They have had a spacer made and this should work however I am worried and am not 100% sure I trust them now. I still do not have my car back yet so I cannot confirm if it works or not.

I stand corrected but as far as I understand there is a rige on the hub of 2mm or so if you that needs to be cut on the new weels for it to sit flush on the hub ......mabe the spacer is not lekke and that is part of the problem??

I had a similar problem with the mags on my Safari - I then took the front hubs of and had them machined to make them narrower by about 1mm.

For me this was better than machining the hole in the rims bigger - for all 4 rims.
