I just recalled I have another 2 jerry cans on the caravan so that should give me enough.

Re: Kaprivi - Botswana April 2017
So our final itinerary is:
Otavi - Ngepi 2 nights
Nagepi - Kasane Chobe River Lodge 1 night
Kasane- Savuti Camp 2 nights
Savuti- Camp 2 nights
Savuti -Dijara Camp 2 nights
Dijara - Maun River Camp (1 nights)
Maun - ? Was meant to be Kubu Island but that is most likely not going to happen due to rains) And suggestions?
? - Kumanga 2 nights
Kumanga - Ghanzi 1 night
Ghanzi - Windhoek
So I have assurances that the whole route is doable with a caravan with the exception of Kubu Island. Comments from them that know?
So we will have an extra 2 nights between Maun and Makgadaghadi Pans. Any suggestions?

Go Nxai Pan, Baines Baobabs.
That route is doable with the caravan and the camp sites #2 or #3 are giving a pretty similar experience as Kubu Island.
If you can get across the camp #1 then you have the Baobabs straight across the pan in the North.
Game drive up to the effective park entrance and the pans is possible, leave the van on camp site to return.

Thanks for that. I had a look online and had no idea that Nxai and Baines were that beautiful!! So would you recomed booking, do you think we would get a place if we arrived un-announced?Kalahari Safari wrote:Go Nxai Pan, Baines Baobabs.
