In elk geval, ek sal 'n nuwe "thread" daaroor begin.

Day 5: Redsands, Kuruman -> Home

Final thoughts ?

Will I go back ? Most definitely.

In fact, I'm going to put this trip up on the forum calendar for next year - more-or-less the same time of year.

Sadly, the number of vehicles would be restricted to 10, as this is the maximum number of permits issued for the Kamchab river per day.
Hi, please add me to the list (if you want to) :-)

Will keep an eye open for the event on the calendar

I just want to add that there are some beautiful stretches on the other side of the river.

I spent a day driving from Vioolsdrift to Sendelingsdrift in July last year, wild-camping somewhere next to the Orange. It was fabulous!

Will let you know when I do the planning. Would like to spend an extra day or two next time. But let me first get dates sorted.
