De Wildt - Two Patrols and a Navara (2017/05/21)

Post by trowalts »

So this Sunday we headed through to De Wildt, my first 4x4 experience (the white patrol) and also the Navara. Luckily we had Iandvl there to show us the ropes. We took the easier route (going left), seems the Navara was a bit shy in the photo below. :rolling:
Image Starting off my first thought was, this 4x4 thing is not to difficult. This is actually really fun and then we walked through this first real ascent, with big ruts and I'm not going to lie, I was concerned. Coming from a Mazda 3, and the safety of smooth tar, this war torn hilltop seemed a nightmare. I watched Ian drive through it like it was nothing, I took a deep breath and placed my truck into first. What followed was me realising, for the first time what an amazing truck the Patrol is.
I know that this was still easy mode, but man I had a lot of fun. I did not do Gert se Klip :surprised: ,but I'll get there one day
I've added some more pics from the ride below! Image

Hey Tinus, jy kan dit maak op hierdie site:

https://imgflip.com/images-to-gif

Gee vir hom n klom photos en dan kan jy goed soos delay tussen frames en quality adjust.
