Dankie Alex,baie interesante plekke.

Daai area rondom Van Wyksvlei/Prieska/Kenhardt le my na aan die hart, my pa se familie kom van daar af.

Net terloops, my roete was meestal teerpad (JHB, Graaf Reinet, Willowmore, Oudtshoorn, Prins Albert, Stellenbosch, Karoo NP, Nieu Bethesda, Clocolan, JHB) en het 5100km total gegee. En ek dink jy het wyer gery.

Nou wonder ek maar net: het die gespaarde afstand opgemaak vir die swaarder brandstofverbruik?
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

Dis vreemd? Ek het miskien minder rond gerits tussendeur.

Ek glo nie ek het enigsins brandstof gespaar nie.
Wanneer ek op grondpad was, was ek in 4H. So meer meerstand weens grond pad en weens twee prop shafts.
By tye was ek net onder 5km per liter. Maar dit het trails en tweespoor ingesluit.
My beste verbruik was tussen Bloemfontein en Jhb! Net onder 6.5km pl. Maar dit was 'n geduldige ry.
Maar ek vermoed hy is nie heeltemaal so ekonomies soos voorheen nie. Daar is 'n paar goed wat dalk skoongemaak kan word.

Miskien sal jy ook die PCV valve moet skoon maak vir beter petrol verbruik!

Ek het bietjie opgelees daaroor. Ek dink daar is 'n goeie kans dat hy die culprit is.
