Andre, dankie vir die mooi fotos. Gaan paar van hulle in die foto-kompetisie opeindig?

Cedric, I know it's not everybody's cup of tea, but Afriski does have a big backpacker's bungalow. We stayd there one night due to an emergency, and it was actually very cheap (I think R90/person), but that was in December. That includes hot and cold running water and proper ablutes, but the rooms are very small (bunk beds for four people per room, but the room is only just big enough to fit the beds).

Count me in on the snowchain-manufacturing-weekend!

I went to do the Sani this past weekend, just a quick up and down.

We were fortunate enough to catch some snow, but not dangerously high levels.

We stayed at the Mountain Park Hotel in Bulwer. What a treat, I just loved that old building. Some door frames hanging scew, creaking wooden floors(running children pounding down the hallways and through the lobby). It looks like the massive structural wooden beams were hand carved. I just loved it.

I'm still waiting for some more pic's, will upload them when I have them.

Regards,
Andre, nice pics. Dankie.!!

Lekker Peter,

It looks like they went up there whilst we were still having a brekkie.(oh, I see now they went on Sunday) And the skies also look much clearer.

Next time I will take my Gumboots with.
