I used the extra day on the weekend to do a bit of maintenance on my Patrol. I've been wanting to change the radiator hoses on my vehicle for some time, but time was limited. Have a look at the old radiator hoses vs the new one's:

You can see on the inside what build up there was. These must be the original pipes the car came out with.

I also replaced the thermostat on the vehicle. When I opened it, I realized that is was stuck in the open position.

It is remarkable how quickly my car get to running temperature now. Very nice when everything is running 100% again.

Here is the installed radiator top hose.
