Here is a CTIS system that was developed for y61s in Dubai, the company that is listed seems no longer in business. I would imagine that the custom hubs on the axle are not cheap.

This is awesome, but the moment you go into the bush those pipes will be ripped of in moments.
I know that some unimog's had pressurized diffs thus no pipes on the side to be caught.

Good day gents .

I have been trying to load my photos of my central tyre inflation system , but I seem to have a problem with my laptop .
I've asked JULES to load the photos for me , from his side . Lets hope JULES can do it for me .
My new swivels that I am prototyping at the moment , will fit inside the wheels way out of harms way (internal fitment) .

JULES ?

The russian military have been using a similar system for many years. I suspect that is is probably much more robust than it appears. Having said that, I would not fit such a system for fear of damage.

The Unimog has portal axles, which makes a through-the-hub system possible. I doubt it is possible to do that without portals.

Oooo that makes sence.
I was thinking about portal axles last week and looked them up for the Patrol...ua$16 000
And that is without an air system.

Very good engineering, would like to know more about the hubs, and how the seals hold up, although you mention that you have had 10years of use out of them. How many kilometres?

Good day SID .

The hub brackets and swivels were made by myself , the brackets use a single 6mm pinch bolt to attach to the vehicle hubs . The bearings and seals are all standard common sizes . The pipe fittings are also standard 1/8th gas thread with the steel pipes being brake tubing . The flexible hose is braided stainless steel . The tubing for the rest of the system is 8mm nylon , as used on big trucks . Mileage wise , they have done about 50-60 000km . On quite a few of my river trips , I have submerged the swivels in wet river sand , and they handled the abuse quite well . In light bush they perform well , and only have problems with big thick sticks which pull the pipes off , or bend the steel pipes . Deep mud is not a problem , but rock crawling in the big stuff is tricky .

My new system that I am working on has a few engineering "challenges" which I am trying to resolve before I can fit the system to my vehicle for testing .
