FYI

Last weekend I managed to set my Bosvark's channels to be able to speak to the Kirisun radios the local CPF and farmers use, and the standard Bosvark with short antenna still picked up better signal than the Kirisun with a extra length antenna :surprised:

Ian, you're looking at ±R5k for the MD655. Pricey, yes, but still some R4k less than a remote-mount analog-only radio.

This radio is a sophisticated piece of equipment and priced reasonably for what it offers.

We also have portable radios capable of both Analog & Digital modes from Kirisun & Hytera, depending on which company has a special going at the moment. These are a tad below R3k each.

Eric
Please reserve 2x Kirisun DP405 136-174 VHF DMR Analogue/Digtal Portable Radios. 1 for me and 1 for a mate of mine.
I will place the order on 15 March 2018.
It would be handy if you could provide me with the serial numbers so that we can apply via ORRA for the lisences.

Hi Jorrie,

Will certainly do so tomorrow. Please shoot me an email at: info (at) repcom.co.za to bump this request.

If you are on the 4x4Community Forum, you could also obtain your licence there, typically within 24 hours. Same channels as ORRA.
