Jerry can are a bit of a bugger, but the best way to use them is to fit them on the side of the fuel filler. Instead of taking them of, use a shakier tube to get the diesel out of the jerry can and into the tank. All you will need to do is not fill them to the brim.

Re: Opinion on feul "Adventure tank"
Hello Dirk: Eerstens -- daar is Brandstof by Ghatsjikau [Katsjikau.. kyk maar spelling op watter map-set jy het] So jy hoef nie vas te byt tot in Kasane nie [ek neem aam jy gaan deur Moremi ?]offroadbiker wrote:So for my Bots trip I will have to carry some additional fuel for the stretch between Maun and Kasane.
There is unfortunately no space on the roof rack or the rear of the vehicle for jerry cans which leaves me with no option but to carry fuel inside the vehicle So the choice is the normal Jerry cans or the Adventure tank from pioneer plastic as per the attached doc's. me opinion on the two choices pls...........

Re: Opinion on feul "Adventure tank"

Re: Opinion on feul "Adventure tank"
No idea if they all came from the same place or store chain but the quality and fitment of the piping on mine is not good and we do not want our Patrols to do "a Kuga".
Have done a temporary fix for the dune trip and will be redoing everything after.
