Another fridge question - because I was wondering.............

What is the difference in power usage for a 12V fridge on your dual battery system as opposed to a 220V fridge with an inverter on your dual battery system?

Tx

...maw effective use of energy.

Agree with Tinus - an inverter has quite big losses (heat, the fan for cooling etc), and the 220v fridges are not optimised for low power as the dedicated fridges.
I can do a test on my Snowman unit this weekend - ie run it on 12v and check the current/pwer consumption, and also then run it through the inverter and check... will be an interesting exercise!
