I agree with Piet.

If I had to choose between a winch and a high lift jack , I will take the jack.
Got myself out of very bad situations on many occasions using only a high lift jack.

Like Piet said , careful use and some innovative thinking achieves miracles.

More Maats.

Groete

This is a good idea as a Patrol event as I had no problems with HL jack on Sani's and Hardbodies but was playing around with it on the Patrol the other day and it ain't so simple.

Goeie idee. Sover ek weet gaan die Nissan Offroad Club vroeg volgende jaar weer 'n herwinnings opleidingdag dag reel.

This is a GREAT idea, but I think it will take a lot of time to really go into this and give it the kind of attention it really needs. It would be great to do this as a Nissan Club event, and any body who Is not a club member is more than welcome to join in on the day. I think safety is the most important thing when doing ANY recovery, and irrespective if one is recovering a Mini or a Patrol, knowledge can be gained by everyone.

Let me chat to Glyn and we can organize it. However due to the year ending on us so quickly, can we look at doing this early next year?
Regards
