Re: Tow Bar Problem
I'm sure of you don't tow 3 ton boat or trailer through the bush then a simple, adapter/drop plate bolting on where your pinlte hook is and then have holes where you can bolt a normal trailer hitch /hook will work. I've towed a small trailer and a car on trailer on various times using it without issues.

You need the black part , not the silver part
Check with Bosal whether it is the adaptor as above or a proper towbar that bolts to your chassis rails - which in my opinion is overkill for a small trailer. I might have a full towbar in my garage. , you might need to make you own plates with welded nuts to to fit in the chassis rails but that is a simple 2 times 40*3 flat bar with 3 holes and nuts welded onto it. I'll check tonight ,reasonable offer and it's yours

Re: Tow Bar Problem
Just a note, with a lifted suspension you will find that a normal trailer will be very low in the back, so check speedbumps. I've added a drop plate to mine without issues

Re: Tow Bar Problem
That Bosal will work for 99% of the towing you'll be doing. Go to steellite in the south of JHB and have them build you one while you wait at lower the cost than the Bosal one.

Re: Tow Bar Problem
Hi SCUBA
I thing i will do that..Will also go to frontrunner and ask them if they can make one for me..I stay close to them anyway..so will give it a try.
Any idea, how much the Bosal might cost?
