Re: Patrol safe
Hi Dirk, have you tried Frontrunner? Otherwise why not fit one under the back seat should be able to get one of those from Makro

Re: Patrol safe
Frontrunner does not cater for the Patrol in this regard.
Will have to do DIY then I guess

Re: Patrol safe
If you find a good spot to mount one and then fit, pls show us what/how.
I put one in my V6 Sani many years ago, and had it very well hidden and unless someone knew it was there would not have known even if car was searched.

Re: Patrol safe
I saw an interesting solution a few years ago (although not for everyone):
He built a frame of 10mm x 50mm flat bar that went right around the foot-well, just behind the pedals. To the bottom member, he welded two hinges. To the hinges, he welded a 5mm thick plate that acts as a lid. At the top, there was an eyelet for a padlock.
When closed, this plate formed a safe and also a very effective immobiliser (because you can't reach the pedals to drive the car).

Re: Patrol safe
Ek dink daaraan om 'n goedkoop "brick safe" te koop en agter my sitplek vas te sit.
