Ek moet se die Patrol ,as jy die matte op lig is prestine en die onderstel lyk of dit nog nie modder gesien het nie..net gooie skoonmaak

A 4.5 with turbo please. Should also be the easiest and cheapest. Piet told me that the 4.2's pushrods are stronger that the 4.5's so that is the first hint.

300 kw and 700 Nm should do the job :blonde: :woo:

Ek dink jy moet jou huidige 4.5 turbo/super charge en vir jou n reg 4.2TD bou met hierdie een. Dan het jy een van elk :thumbup:

Van daardie opsies is vh41 dalk die goedkoopste om te koop, maar die moeilikste om in te bou

Met enige v8 sal jy die selfde potensiele issues he, meestal m.b.t. spasie.
Spasie vir die sump, spasie vir die starter motor, en spasie vir die uitlaat pype.
Dan gaan jy ook moet mooi dink oor die mountings, en belhousing.

Dit is seker die mees uitdagende ombouings opsie van die wat jy lys.

Maar ek kon ook nog nooit 'n logiese argument hoor hoekom iemand eerder VH41/VH45 ombouing sal doen as 'n 1UZ/3UZ (Lexus) nie.
Albei is 90 grade V8s.
Dit is net die sentiment, een is Nissan en die ander is Toyota.

Goedkoper, ja.
Ek hoor ook 1UZ raak nou skaars, vs 3UZ.
Maar 1Uz het ook sterker conrods, wat hom meer populer maak vir turbo.
