Ek het nie n plan nie ,soos jy sien het ek planke en cartbox begin om te sien wat ek wil he. so as 'n mens tekeninge wil maak sal ek daardie een moet opmeet. :think:

Ek het ook die idee gekry, ek dink Jakes se Hardbody op die site, om cardboard te gebruik as 'n template en dan die hele lot te teken op CAD en dit dan laat sny en buig. Die proffessionele ouens vra te veel as hulle dit vir jou bou.

Dit lyk pragtig. Ek wil ook binnekort my standaard plastiek verwyder. Ek is wel bekokmerd oor die airbags. Hoe werk hulle? Of werk hulle nie meer met die nuwe bosbreker nie?

Wat die airbags betref het ek nie 'n idee waar hulle getrigger word nie, maar dit bekommer my nie regtig of hulle werk of nie, ry maa rop goeie geloof.

Airbags are triggered by acceleration sensors.

Thus the fitting of an aftermarket bumper does not cause them not to work.

The issue is that, if your bul-bar is significantly stronger than the factory bumper, you lose the "crumple zones". What happens then is that, should you hit something, the car de-celerates significantly faster than a standard one.

The result of this is that the airbags may trigger much more easily (or could I say in a much smaller accident) than they normally would.

As a result, the repair cost of a miner fender-bender might significantly increase due to the cost of replacing the airbags.
