Have you tried it practically - I think you may just be surprised!
I normally use a dive cylinder and can pump my boat and Patrol tyres (8 of them) numrous times before a refill.

Hi Chris. The dive cylinder is usually 10liter (except if your like me 15liter, I'm a supercharged and turbo V8 underwater :redface: ) but is pumped to +-200 bar so has big air storage. The 4.5liter tank is only at +-8 bar.

My stelsel se druk kan op gejaag word maar die water/oil separator na die pomp is net ge-rate tot 170PSI/12Bar.
As dit nie daarvoor was nie was die rubber pyp die volgende limiting factor wat 'n "Working Pressure" van 20Bar het.
Ek sal liewer maar net die enjin laat luier vir die paar minute wat dit nodig sou wees om die bande te pomp.

Riaan, wees maar versigtig wie weet van daai stelsel.

Volgens SANS 347 is dit 'n Categorie-1 drukvat. Baie wettige aspekte ITV die ontwerp en onderhoud wat jy nie toegepas het nie, kan jou 'n klomp geld kos.

Indien jy nie een het nie, en vir jou eie veiligheid, kry en installeer 'n pressure relief valve. Hulle is relatief goedkoop.
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

Peter, ek het 'n presure relief valve op (12Bar) maar moet bieg dat ek nie die wet bestudeer het nie. Ek wil dit tog deur gaan. Baie dankie vir die pointer.
