Patrol gewig

Post by Reenen » 24 Mar 2018 12:22

Myne eenkeer by scrap metal dealers laat weeg. As ek reg onthou was hy so 2450kg, maar hy was nie leeg of standaard nie.

Laaistelsel, bosbreker, yskas, dubbel battery, bash plates, dakrak, awning, hi-lift jack en omtrent 100l petrol. Tarre is 1960kg volgens lisensieskyf.

I was a the waste paper drop off last week. How accurate the weighbridge is, is a whole different story, however I doubt it is out by more than a few kg's. So on the bridge my Iron maiden ( GU 4.2 diesel ) with 1/4 tank of diesel, no subtank, with drawer system and aluminium front TJM bumper ( which is extremely light compared to the steel bumpers) and no roof rack and camping stuff in the Patrol, I weighed in at 2866kg. Lets say the weighbridge is out by 50Kg each way, its still VERY close to 3 tons !!

Late last year I weighed my Patrol (2009 GU TD4.2) at a weighbridge. Was stock standard with original steelie rims, 235/85/16 tyres, full sub tank, quarter main tank and nothing else... 2340kg.
