Ok just spoke to my "oom" at Nissan Rosslyn. He confirms that there has never been a Patrol built or assembled in SA, all of them were imported as a complete vehicle.
The same is true for all Pathfinders and Navaras.

Guys, ... please accept my apology for dropping the "F-Bomb" earlier. My sincere apologies , i have edited my post. I know that may have been offensive for some.

Pete..... wow, i find this very interesting. Although now according to Micheal it may be a "technical" glitch of sorts? Very keen to get to the bottom of this.

On the way home today, i actually thought about it. I may have been wrong about the WAGONs... but the Pickup's i am certain of, built in the UD truck Factory, Japan. I think my subconscious just lumped ALL patrols in the same place... but i see i may be wrong about the wagons.

When I spoke to my "uncle" he said he will send me the contact details of the guy who was directly involved in the import of the Patrols.
I can share it if anyone wants to give him a call and get the facts?

I am willing to bet it says "Made in South Africa"...

This is all so bizarre.

Surely there HAS to be some record of exact production locations and fine details?

Can one not put this question to Nissan World Wide?... or present the question to Nissan SA (including Pete's pics).
