Of course, the best way to go big is with portal axles. That gives you back the gear ratio (perhaps even a bit more), gives you massively more ground clearance and doesn't affect suspension geometry...

Marius Murray het 35" op PAMPOEN gehad ..maar nie vir lank nie .. die nadele het die voordele heeltemal oorskadu [MARIUS SAFARI ] is op hirri forum maar baie baie baie lanklaas hier ingeloer.

OF jy kan hom op FACEBOOK raak trek,. Hy is baie daar [ek sal hom daar n klippie gooi dat sy aandag hier benodig word]

Wat ek wou sê .. as daar èèn ou is wat weet van SOA en body lifts en 35" wiele op n Patrol, dan is dit maar Marius [sy gelyke, JOHANN SAFARI is nou in Australie en sal nie so hands on kan help nie :mytwocents: :mytwocents: :mytwocents:

I would love to Portal axle my Patrol Pickup and run 37's.

Not worth the money though.
'07 Patrol Pickup TD42 N/A,285's KM2,3" Lift,ONCA Bars,Warn High Mount,Alu Canopy, and some other Stuff.

In Holland Wouter can get you / us VOLVO Portals .. which they deem the ULTIMATE best .. with the axles .. never asked the price [he used it in his truck when he did the SILKY WAY Ralley [WOUTER O being the previous previous previous owner of LOBO [Then "Witblitz"]
