I know of a good few people "hanging in there"

PS .... I reallylike the look of the Grabber that we won't get here.....hahaha
I second that there statement...... :blonde:
I'm also hanging in there for the Grabber MT X3s and a group discount would be great, but I'm wanting the 285/70R17s which they do list on the X3 launch website http://generaltire.com/tires/light-truc ... grabber-x3

So I third that statement

Spotted in PE on Saturday.
Fully imported General Grabbers for promotional purposes.
Size was 285/75 R16

I'm waiting for my contact at GT to get back from holiday so I can put some pressure on him.
Hopefully GT has managed to include these in the lineup for local production this year.

I'd love a set of these !

The last I heard from my man on the inside is that the US can't keep up with their local demand for these tires, so there was no chance of them coming to SA.
Hopefully that's changed.
The Grabbers were originally developed for Baja Trophy Racing so they are super strong.

I know the General Grabber X3's will start local production soon.
They're the next generation MT's.

Looks sweet!!
I have made a point to look at what tyres are fitted to vehicles recently. There are loads of vehicles fitted with the new General Grabber AT, seems like they are high on demand

Not quite the same thing there...
You get General :
1. Grabber A/T
2. Grabber A/T3 (launching on local market 2017)
3. Grabber M/T
4. Grabber X3 (launching on local market 2017)
5. Grabber (only available in US - the one's I took the picture of)

The General Grabber was the original offroad tire GT produced for the Baja Trophy racing, and then decided to launch other models for the public.

I'm hoping that the Grabber will become available on the local market.
It will destroy the big brands in price and performance.
