Had to check on the web, cause I didnt believe it at first that they put such small wheels on a Patrol: The new pickup got 265/70r16 (31") and the 4.8 wagon got 275/65r17 (31"), 3.0 wagon also got 265/70r16. Shocking. :surprised:
Always thought that they bring them out with 32" tyres.
The 4.2 pickup came out with 235/85r16 (32"). afaik

Would be interresting to see how much difference there would be from a 33" to a 34.5" tyre.
With regards to performance and fuel consumption: a 35x10.5 would be better.... :mytwocents:

I got another 3 years or so of life left on the 4.5's st maxxs, before having to replace tyres... But looking at the cost of 315's :surprised: It is very unlikely that I would be able to afford them.
Might just slap another set of 255/85's on.
Toyo Open Country MT 255/85r16's are 33.5" tall :salute:

Are those Toyo's available here in SA. They have some nice size variations the other guys don't have. I see they have a 33x10.5x15. I am nearly inclined to go for that as apposed to the 33x12.5 I presently have on my Sani. They would better suite my 8J rims.

Minty's sells them in SA. Have not phoned them yet, but they don't respond to emails...

BFG also make that size. Would be interesting to see how BFG vs Toyo prices compares.

Ja sal interresant wees om te weet of die prys vir 33x10.5 of 33x12.5 is..

Ek sien op errol tyres, 33/10.5r15 bfg km2's is R3848. En dan het Maxxis ook die grote in AT980 - R2963.

I think, they think we are going to stay in there grasp of wondrous information for longer, and by so doing stand a longer chance of selling us something...

Hate it with a passion. If I wanted to go fishing, I'd be sitting next to a river somewhere. Give me my info so I can move on.
