Piet se Duelers het bietjie gesukkel met traction, wat se size het jy op Piet?

P.S. Ek dink rubber komponent en band maak/ontwerp/samestelling speel groter rol as dit by traksie kom (bv. klip of nat pad), as wat band grote doen. :mytwocents:

Fanus ek het 265/75/16 General Grabbers op en het boot gesleep op Ponta het in die modder gejaag tussen Mbazwana en Jozini het koos seklip gedoen en daar is geen tyre noise op die teerpad nie en hulle het my R1600/band gekos..ek dink dis n goeie koop gewees :thumbup: :thumbup:

Fanus onthou nog its ook. Met 285's kan jy die bande papper ry as met 255's so in teorie kan jy n grooter footprint he.

Dis die all terrains? Ja ek hou van grabbers.
Die general grabber mt's in daai grote, kos oor die R3k nou... (heidiglik R3700 by mufasa tyres).

Maar hoe pap wil jy regtig jou bande ry? My bande is gewoonlik 1.2-1.4 wanneer ek offroad gaan. Jy gaan nerrens met 'n 285 kan uit ry waar jy nie met 'n 255 kan nie. (of 'n 235 vir arguments onthalwe). 'n groter wiel diameter gaan jou meer help offroad as 'n breer band.

Interresante ding is dat die ouens oorsee betaal meer vir 255/85r16's as vir 285's...

P.S. maar ek stem saam 285/75r16 is die perfekte grote vir 'n patrol... maar eish, R5k meer vir 'n stel....

Ek stem dat band komposisie en patroon meer effek het op traksie as wat die grote het, maar dit was nie een van die faktore onder bespreking nie.

Ek het 32x11.5's op. Dis die nouste band op 'n 15" velling wat 32" deursnee het. Ek sou graag nouer gaan, maar nie kleiner in deursnee nie.
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.
