Hey,

Not a stupid question at all. I am a big advocate of the KL71's, i love them. I was on e of the first people to get them years ago and have owned two sets, the first set gave me 83 000km and the second set was still in use after 30 000km. I chose to move to KM2's purly for a change. The kM 2 are a better all-round tyre i have experienced , but nowhere near as good in mud and clay as the kl71 (the kumho was really good on road too, but not as good as the km2). The directional tread and huge lugs of the Kumho just bit so deep ,and glogging is much less of an issue when compared to the BFG. I love both and will punt each tyre as they both deserve it.

Hope this answers your question

I appreciate for the information, especially from someone who has tested both first-hand.

The biggest problem where I live is that a lot of tires are just not available.
