Antony

Is that rear view camera permament when the car is on, or only on reverse?

Hey Alex

Its only on in reverse. but I didn't fit the Camera, it was already installed. You can set it up to go on whenever you want though.

I have made mine operate off a button so I use it when I need to when reversing but more importantly I have set it so that I can monitor a trailer while travelling.

Personally I think anyone who buys a second hand Patrol that has had any accessory fitted should be sending it to you if they do not know how to do it themselves.

Both mine had some really dodgy wiring and the Firetruck should have burnt to the ground long before I got it. Battery cable straight to an inverter lying loose and bouncing around behind the seat and not fused was just one of many examples.
