Ok, I had the madman installed today, but so far there seems to be a few problems.
I don't know what the guy did with the oil pressure sender, it seems to be doubling as a ref counter. I disabled the alarm as it goes of every time the refs drop, when slowing down or stopping
And since he worked on the vehicle the sub tank is not working - sub tank light on dash stays on. He had a look and tried to solve it but ran out of time. So the vehicle will go back to them tomorrow...
The Egt and coolant temp seems to be working fine.
But I also notice an increase in engine noise, maybe he removed something to pull the cables from the engine bay to the cab and did not replace?

Fanus ,ek sien jy is besig met n jag rak en sweis werk,jy moet net seker maak jy sweis nie op jou Patrol voordat jy die battery ,alternator en ecu ontkoppel het nie, daai goed hou nie van spikes nie

Wat my pla is dat die ou nie altwee die pole gebruik het nie, maar hy het 'n t-piece in gesit.

Die senders gebruik n negatief en meet weerstand terug na die blok toe dis hoekom dit so belangrik is dat die blok die negatief van die unit verskaf

Ok, die sub tank is weer funksioneel. Die olie druk fluktueer tussen 1- 3 bar. Sal die voertuig later na iemand anders vat om daarna te kyk. Ek dink nie die ouens wat dit geinstalleer het, gaan dit reg kry nie. (hulle het reeds 2 dae probeer..)
EK kan nie so lekker sien wat by die olie druk sender aan gaan nie, sal later probeer om 'n foto te neem..
Wat is 'n goeie maksimum om die egt alarm op te stel? 650? 700?
