Diesel Turbo does not have a vacuum, but most boost gauges has this functionality built in.

Yes its unfortunate that it is so hard to find the right gauge without the vacuum functionality, as you said it is 100% useless on my diesel

The one I've got has it built in, just ignore it.

Otherwise you could always go for something like this

Stefan,

I will getting one of this when I am in the US next month. Anybody else who wants one send me a pm. I will place the order in Mid September and be back towards the end of October.

Rand has weakened to 10 . 97 so a little more expensive,

While there is an active Madman/Landyonline topic, I need to get a sump plug for my patrol that can take an oil temp sender

Does anybody know what size and thread the sump plug is of a 4.2D engine?

As far as I can remember it is the same as a Cruiser's. Got mine from Brian Cotton when they were still Landy Online...

Josh

I will be installing mine over the weekend and I would suggest that you must get the boost reading as close to the intake manifold as possible. The best place for me is that pipe between the intake manifold and the actuator for the Injector pump. Just put a T-piece in that pipe and connect the boost gauge...... will be perfect

Sorry Josh, forgot you have a 3.0 so you don't have a old school pump like mine and you will have to find another place to read your boost pressure from....
