Radio Code

Radio Code

Postby David » 04 Jun 2012 07:50

Anybody know where it is recorded?
I attached my CTEK charger to the Trol's battery yesterday and decided to run the recondition program. This stuffed up my radio as I have no idea what the code is

Any help will be appreciated

OK I found it. It is supposed to be in the back of the owners manual but mine isn't - it was in my warrantee booklet. :salute:

I think it is becouse on that cycle it drains the battery flat and then recharges it ????

Hi Tinus - I dont think it drains the battery because reconditioning happens after the charge cycle. I actually think the CTEK pushed up the voltage and the Troll thought it was under attack and decided to protect itself by shutting down.

Next time I will rather disconnect the battery when reconditioning

It doest drain the battery flat and also it wasnt because of the higher voltage , when it was reconditioning the battery it first charges it up then drains it at a lower voltage to break up the sulphate and the charges again , probably during this the voltage dropped under 9.8 or so volt and the radio lost its code
