TD42 front and rear brake disc sizes

I was looking at the Iron Maidens brake discs all round. There is a distinct lip on the two front brake discs and I am not sure if they have been skimmed previously. So lets rather bang in some new discs and pads. and I might as well do the rears too.

Now the question. What are the outer diameters of SPECIFICALLY the TD42 front and rear discs. From my research it seems that the front discs are 306mm in diameter for the TD42, but I cannot get any proper info on what the diameter is for the rear brake discs. Unfortunately I don't have a vernier to measure the OD accurately. I assume they are not the same in diameter as they have different brake pads.

I will get some part numbers and prices and place them here too.

Front Discs
ALFA - (part no) DR 6454 = R ??
FERODO (part no) DDF 1552 = R ??
POWERBRAKE ( part no ) ??? = R ???
Onlinecarparts.co.za ( Part no) DR6454 = R 2100 delivered ( for both front discs )

Rear Discs
ALFA - (part no) ????? = R ??
FERODO (part no) ????? = R ??
POWERBRAKE ( part no ) ??? = R ???
Onlinecarparts.co.za ( Part no) ????? = R ???

I will put up the front and rear brake pad part numbers for the TD42 Patrol too.

Front pads :-
FERODO - FDB 1577 - R ???
ATE - ??? - R ????
POWER BRAKE - ??? - R ???

We can always do a new thread for the TB 42,45,48 and ZD30 on a new post so if one does a search you will immediately get to the right info.

Yeah the brakes I have at the moment are still pretty damn good, so I don't really want to go ballistic with all sorts of fancy discs and pads. Looking basically for standard setup.

Cedric, this is a great thread. I also have to replace the front disc next time I do front pads. It was a border case when I did the pads the last time.

Hi Cedric

We can also supply the rotors. R2600 for front set, R2200 for the rear set.

All the GU Patrols except the 4.8 takes the same rotors front and rear, TB45, ZD30, TD42. On the rear the GQ have the same disc rotor as the GU.

We will only import a new order in May. So delivery will take some time. Hope this helps.

Thanks

Marino, if we can get a group of us together to buy the discs (rotors) from you, is there a "bulk" discount that could be arranged, and if so how many is bulk.

I am going to start a list off, just to see who would be interested. ( not holding you to it )

(FRS) = Front Rotor Set
(RRS) = Rear Rotor Set

1 Ricster - (FRS) + (RRS)

@Marino.... I see the prices of your brake pads is also pretty reasonable. I am quite particular with the pads I have put into my various vehicles over the years. I have always been a Ferodo Platinum and an ATE brake pad user. Can you give us any info on the brand that you supply? I have nothing against any other manufacturer of brake pads, its just that I have a certain piece of mind when I slam on the brakes that the pads I have in there are going to perform at its optimal level. I understand Brembo and the likes will probably outperform what I have, but I don't drive a race car....

Any specs or info would really be helpful, and possibly we can look at a completer set of discs and pads to match.

Any info on the rotors too?

I see ALFA won't or don't ( not sure which ) supply my little spares shop with their rotors due to Patrols not being popular....
