Received some quotes on suspension upgrades:

(Safari Centre Nelspruit)
EFS - R20975
Iron Man - R25090
TJM - R30920
OME (Voetspore mega world) - R25581

Anyone interrested in buying a kidney from me? :eureka:

Over R30K for TJM suspension... i almost fell of my chair!

Tinus, what tyres are you running (size?).

I''m staggered that your measurement is 990 from rim lip to wheel Arch... thats massive. please do me a fav and show us how the spring sits, side view. As i'm trying to build up a custom pack and i like to pick ideas off certain designs.

Also, are you running standard shackles in the rear, or just the ironman springs?

Fanus,... i know EFS are regarded highly amongst the cruiser boys, and just so happens to be the cheapest. still, bloody costly flip man.

Fanus, you can go to any place that builds and fixes leaf springs. They can sort you out with stiffer springs as well as springs that will give you a lift for very cheap.

Tinus did this on his Hilux bakkie for something like R700/leaf spring pack.

Tinus, plak n prentjie van hoe jou Hilux se lift is na die nuwe springs

Just note, speaking from several bad experiences:

There is a very good reason these guys are so cheap.
