Wheel Alignment

Post by Clem »

How often should it be checked - if ever - on a GU? I never bother on any of my Land Rovers (whether coil or leaf sprung).

At least every 10 000 when you rotate and balance your wheels

Did my suspension lift 20 000 km ago. Checked the alignment last week as I reckoned it may need attention as the suspension should now have settled. No adjustment required and as it was the same place (twt fourways) they had the record of the previous settings. It hand changed by 100 th's of a degree. Some of the trips done included the wild side of the Transkei and Kalahari.

But balance and rotate those big wheels and tyres every 10 000 km. That was horribly out after 10 000 km.
