Yes, I agree - It is only because of this forum that I even bothered to try to get it replaced. Thank you!
Most people will just accept that the warrantee has expired and live with the problem

My Patrol is a January 2007 model.

I noticed the first little bubble yesterday. There is only one....yet.

It is so small, that I expect to have a hard time convinsing Nissan that there is a problem. Maybe I should wait for more to appear. (I am already a year out of warranty.)

Wynvat,
I wouldn't wait because the recall is for a limited period only! :naughty:

Verify that your VIN is on the list and then convince them to replace the dash now because more bubbles will appear soon. My Trol is a year older than yours and the previous 2 services was done by myself and they still replaced my dash free of charge so I don't think you will have any problems

David

I had to cancel the appointment, unforeseen circumstances.

I will report back when I have done it.

Hi Guys
I am considering replacing my 4.5 with a 4.8 GRX. I have seen a couple of them but they have the bubbles on the dash. Looking at this thread it seems Nissan will replace the dash - but I do not want to buy a vehicle withou having this conformed by Nissan - does anyone know who I can call at Nissan to get clarity on this?
