PATROL Mirrors

Post by hugejp »

Can anyone possibly confirm or deny this please...

I was told today that the GU Patrol & some of the Hardbody models use the same electric mirrors.

If so does anybody know the model specifics?

I was getting a quote on having some trim sprayed on my diesel & they told me they had used hardbody mirrors on a GU before.

Looks like the plot thickens...

After not being able to find anything online to support this I called him back, as this was just mentioned in passing.

Seems they mixed & matched parts to make one set of mirrors, using the mounting base plate of the broken GU mirrors & the actual mirrors, motors & housings from the hardbody...

So I am not sure a straight swop is possible.
