Dirk ... just remember that this first batch by the sounds of things will only be for the GU and not the GQ ..... as yet.

Rob, while I am quite happy for my car to be used to make a pattern, I do not actually want set.

Firstly, 4" is far too wide for me, and secondly I would prefer to have something that can deform when next it contacts a tree or rock...

Rob. I bought a set of 4" Ala-plast ones that don't fit my Y61 GU, and they look exactly like the ones in your pictures

What do you drive - a Y61 Patrol? Maybe the ones they sent me were meant for the Y60? Contact me if you want to check them out...

Hi Christo

I have looked at the Ala-plast wheel flares, the are made for the Y61 GU two door. So I am not mistaken you received 4 wheel flares in the kit?? where the one's I plan on making will either be a kit consisting on 6 or 8 flares....

but yes thank you for the offer I would really like to get hold of you and see the flares you brought in.... here are some pictures of the ala-plast flares and a pic of my car were I will show you all the flares I plan on making....

just not sure at this point in time if I must waste my time making the front bumper flares as I don't know how many guys would be interested in putting them on, as I think most guys would rather have after market bumpers front and rear. as for the back bumper on the patrol the flares are one moulding......

just let me know your feelings on this please guys...... Also hope the pictures help explain a bit more......

While you are at it - since you will be measuring the door , fender profile, Create another version. When I got the first quote direct from Arctic's manufacturer (they gave me the details ) they were about R10k then I lost touch when that point rock thingy shot it's load. The mark up by the local agents are ridiculous to say the least.
