Op "Jou binne band" het hulle ook n maklike verandering gewys..om daai agter deur problem op te los,en jy boor net een ekstra gat..( 20min job)

Not having undone that bolt myself I suspect that there is a threaded hole behind it. So drilling into sheet material is not going provide enough meat for the existing bolt?
Not familiar with "Jou binne band" google turns up nothing... although not everything is on the internet!!

I did a McGuyver style mod on my previous Patrol for this.
All I did was add a bit of weld on the edge of the bracket for a bit of extra meat and then slotted the hole to shift the bracket out more.
Worked like a charm and that Patrol is still going strong 7 years since the mod.
I haven't gotten around to doing my new Patrol yet.
I'll post pics once I pull finger and do it.
