Rear passenger quarter window

Post by Lourens »

I am desperately looking for the quarter window of the rear passenger door. None of the major windscreen suppliers keep stock and Nissan is asking an arm and a leg for the small piece of glass. Any suggestions or help will be much appreciated.

Lourens,

Have you tried glass cutting places??

Not sure if it can be done for windows but I replaced one of the mirrors on my trol like that - less than a 100 bucks!!!!

I have had numerous tempered / shatterproof type glass made up at the local glass cutting place around the corner from my office. I am sure they must be able to do something like this as well.

I think it's worth a try.

Pieter I have been told that they cannot do curved glass, which this is? If they can, please let me know who they are?

Lourens you may want to try Northern Offroad, I know they have fairly recently converted a couple of GQ's to game viewers for a motor dealer.
Mag ons ons kenniskry met lekkerkry aanhoukry.

You can get perspex cut to size to close the window. Then you can start to look for a second hand window.

Ek sien jy het 'n 95 GQ, my 94 kom van Upington en die son het daardie rubber om die agterste vesterrame al murfers toe gebak - het jy enige sukses in jou soektog gehad by Northen Offroad?

Groete
